If the Visit receiver does not respond when an SMS is received.

This could have multiple causes. Please check the following:

The SMS message has been converted to a MMS message

If you have an Android device and receive a very long or complex SMS message, it may under certain circumstances be converted to a MMS message on your phone. Your Visit receiver does not support notifications of MMS messages and will not respond when your SMS messages has been converted to a MMS message.

Deactivate RCS messages

Google’s RCS technology is not sent technically as a regular SMS even if it may appear as a SMS message on your mobile device. Please deactivate RCS by the following steps. The list of the procedure may differ depending on mobile device:

  1. Open Google Messages app and tap the Account icon
  2. Tap Messages settings and select RCS chats
  3. Tap the toggle switch to turn off RCS chats and confirm the choice.

Vibio has frozen

If Vibio is not responding or seems to be ”frozen”, you might need to reset it.

To reset your Vibio:

  • Press the reset hole located on the side using e.g. a paper clip. Your Vibio will return to factory settings and restart automatically.

  • Vibio should then connect to your mobile phone, as long as it’s within Bluetooth range. If it doesn’t, you might need to pair your Vibio manually.

To pair your Vibio:

  1. Pull and hold the Snooze strap until the LEDs starts to flicker. Release and pull it again until the LEDs starts to breathe in blue.

  2. Open the Vibio app. Tap to open the Menu, select Setup New Vibio and follow the simple setup instructions.

  3. The LED eyes on Vibio will light up in blue for 4 times to show that the pairing was successful.

Note: You can always check the connection by looking at the Vibio icon on the top right corner of the app home screen. If it’s displayed normally, Vibio is connected. If it’s crossed out, the connection is lost.
