Bellman & Symfon are proud to have been chosen as a supplier of ‘hearing impaired (wireless) smoke alarms and associated products’on the new UK Fire & Rescue Services Framework Agreement.
As the only supplier on the agreement to focus entirely on the design, development and manufacture of products to improve the lives of deaf and hard of hearing people, our offer is unique. Bellman Visit, our smart home alerting system, has evolved over the last 30 years, continually improving through accumulated experience and knowledge, working alongside deaf and hard of hearing users.
The result is a proven and tested system providing a high level of protection for people who are deaf or have hearing loss. Coupled with a Swedish designed look and feel that users love, what’s not to like?
Framework agreement listed products.
Bellman Visit is easy to set up, saving valuable time for the installer and minimizing disruption to users. No pairing required, just pull the battery tabs, plug in the receiver and pad, and mount the smoke alarm transmitters using the sticky pads. It’s that simple!
Bellman Visit has a long-standing reputation in the market for reliable alerting. False alerts undermine user confidence and for Fire & Rescue Services there’s a cost to managing returns, organizing replacements and making return visits.
Make reliability issues a thing of the past - choose Bellman Visit.
With a focus on customer needs, Fire & Rescue Services will be aware that flash receivers may not be appropriate for all users. Where an alternative is needed, Bellman Visit provides options to meet all requirements, including vibrating pagers and wrist receivers, alarm clock receivers and sounding receivers. These products are available outside of the framework agreement.

Our fire safety products are part of a fully integrated system for deaf and hard of hearing people. Users, or other social agencies, can add alerting to doorbell, intercom, telephone, mobile phone, alarm clock etc. simply by adding transmitters to the existing system.
Why provide several costly and conflicting systems when you can have everything covered in one?
Get emergency notifications from connected smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Use doorbell and open/closed sensors to alert you if someone rings your doorbell or enters your home.
Get an alert on your Visit receiver when you have an incoming call or message.
Use a baby monitor and a contact mat to know when your baby stirs or is trying to leave the cot.
Bellman Visit has a reputation for reliability, and we don’t receive many returns but if you do have any issues, we want to make resolving them as easy as possible. So please let us know the nature of the fault and the product affected; the Fire and Rescue Team that provided your device; and your name, address and contact details.
If we cannot resolve the issue remotely, we will give you a returns number and our Freepost address. Please pack it up and take to your local Post Office, obtaining a proof of posting. We will arrange for a replacement unit to be sent to you by return and use your contact details for updates.
