Wilmington is a port city in southeastern North Carolina. The coastal region is known for beautiful beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, waterfront attractions on the Intracoastal Waterway, and its lively Historic Downtown Riverfront. The city has been referred to as “The Hollywood of the East” as nearly 400 films and TV productions, including Iron Man 3, One Tree Hill, and Dawson’s Creek were filmed in the area.
